Ivonne - I have been in Dentistry since 1985 and with Dr. Walton since 2004. I graduated from Ferris State University in Michigan with a Bachelor's Degree in dental related Sciences. I attended college on a dual scholarship for softball and volleyball. Upon graduation, I received a RDA and CDA license for dental assisting. During this period I began to focus my career interests in oral surgery and office management. I went on to receive an MBA in Healthcare Management and Accounting from Montana State University in 2001. And yes, I love to ski and snowboard! As you may have guessed by now, I am very athletic and enjoy staying active with Taekwondo and tennis as an Atlanta ALTA and USTA player. I am married and have twin sons that are currently attending the University of Georgia. I love to celebrate life and encourage people to be the best they can be and cannot think of a better way to do that than through helping others achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. I am proud to be part of a team that is excited to make each patient a priority.

Appointment Coordinator

My goal is to welcome you to our office with a smiling face and make you feel at home while we work one on one scheduling appointments that will work within your busy life as best as possible. I can also help with your payment program, insurance, and flexible spending accounts. Feel free to contact me at any time regarding these matters.

Renee - I have lived in Georgia most of my life. I attended Lanier Middle School and North Gwinnett High School. I served my Country in the Navy aboard a Submarine Tender, the USS Dixon. Following my service in the Navy, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science. I have worked in the dental field for more than 12 years now, and I absolutely love what I do. It is so rewarding for me to know that I have had a hand in creating a beautiful smile. I've been with Dr. Walton since 1995. I am married and have a 17 year old son named Kiefer, who has been the greatest joy to me. I love camping, playing paintball, hanging out with my wonderful friends and family and playing with my 4 year old Jack Russell, Nigel.

Patient Coordinators

As patient coordinators, our priority is to keep both patients and parents informed throughout the entire orthodontic treatment process and to facilitate the treatment prescribed by Dr. Walton in a comfortable and efficient manner. We also strive to make it a fun and enjoyable experience for all.

Adrianna - I have been an orthodontic assistant for Dr. Walton since 2008. I'm originally from Brazil and moved to the USA in 2005. In Brazil, I was a dentist and orthodontist. I attended Dental School in Sao Paulo, graduating with a DDS degree in 1992 and then went on to Orthodontic School in Rio de Janeiro, graduating in 2005. I absolutely love orthodontics and the relationships I build as I see patients through all the stages of orthodontic treatment. I love to see the positive transformation that occurs in patients with the creation of each new beautiful smile. I am married and have a lovely 2 year old named Tomas. During my free time I enjoy cooking, walking at the park, shopping and spending quality time with my family.

Rose - I have been in the orthodontic field and with Dr. Walton since 1997. The most enjoyable part of my day is getting to know the patients and being able to keep up with what they are doing over the treatment period - many times even into their young adult years and beyond. I am married and have 6 grown children and 15 grandchildren. I graduated from St. Anthony's School of Nursing in Rock Island, Illinois and St. Ambrose College (University) in Davenport, Iowa. I practiced as a registered nurse until 1980 when I went on to pursue a life as a business owner. I owned and operated 3 pre-school and childcare facilities for the next 15 years. I enjoy long walks in my neighborhood 4-5 times weekly and taking health and fitness classes at the Atlanta Fitness center. I have completed 5 senior Marathons (26.2 miles) as a participant, the most recent being for the Leukemia Lymphoma Team'N'Training in Chicago, 2008.

Sherri - I am a native of Georgia, growing up in Marietta and attending Sprayberry High School. After graduation, I attended Marietta Cobb Vocational Technical Institute for Medical Assisting, followed by Kennesaw State College and Dekalb College of Nursing. I have been blessed to work in the health care industry for more than 25 years. I have 3 children, Terry, Trevor, and Michael. We are all outdoor enthusiasts, and play baseball and basketball. My favorite interests include gardening and research. I have been a long time member of the Winder YMCA and have recently joined the Baptist Nursing Fellowship (BNF), to help victims of catastrophes (like Haiti and Hurricane Katrina). My mission is to use the knowledge given to me to help others with their needs.
